Donna Kuzio To All Instructors
For over 20 years, Donna Kuzio has taught STEM—primarily engineering and robotics—to more than 1,000 K–12 students, blending hands-on learning with creative challenges, contests, and plenty of fun. A civil engineer by training, she once managed projects across the U.S. and Europe—but found her true calling in the classroom, teaching robotics and engineering while homeschooling her three children.
Engineering runs deep in the Kuzio family—Donna and her husband are civil engineers, and two of their children earned master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
She is joined in class by her son Daniel and assistant Ryan Hall, whose top-notch troubleshooting skills help solve problems, prevent meltdowns (human and robotic), and keep things rolling—literally.
In the past few years alone, Donna has invested over $30,000 in VEX Robotics equipment to ensure her students have access to top tier tools and technology. Together, the team aims to spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong fascination with robotics and engineering.
When she’s not herding robots, Donna is usually off making memories with friends and family, one flight at a time.
